This privacy policy applies to the Rittiers app (hereby referred to as "the App") for iOS, watchOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS.

1. Overview

Rittiers is designed to respect your privacy. The App allows you to view, organize, and track GPX routes. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data with third parties.

2. Data Storage & Syncing

All GPX files, routes, and location data are stored locally on your device or securely in your personal iCloud container.

• iOS & watchOS: Location data is used strictly for real-time tracking within the App to show your position on the route. This processing happens entirely on-device.
• tvOS, macOS & visionOS: These platforms function primarily as viewers. They access your route data via your private iCloud account to display elevation profiles and maps.

The App does not transmit your location data or files to any external servers managed by the developer.

3. HealthKit Integration

Rittiers integrates with Apple Health (HealthKit) to allow you to import past workouts. Access to HealthKit is only requested to enable the "Import Workout" feature.

• This data is used solely for the purpose of converting your workout history into routes within the App.
• We do not use your Health data for marketing, advertising, or data mining.
• This data remains on your device and is not shared with us.

4. Analytics

The App does not use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Facebook Pixel) to track your usage or behavior.

Apple may collect anonymous crash reports and usage statistics if you have opted-in to share these with developers in your iOS/macOS system settings. This data is fully anonymized.
